# Every login is free, for every person on the file

> IMECore is priced per closed case. The referrer who sends the file, the examiner who sees the claimant, and the claimant who attends all get a login, and none of them is charged for it. No usage fees, no sign-up cost, no seat count.

## What a referrer can do

One login covers the whole file, from the referral you send to the invoice you read.

### See every case you are on

The portal home lists the cases shared with you, with the claimant, exam type, and current status.

### Submit a referral online

Create a new case for staff review from a form, with the referral questions attached. A payment method on file is required before the first submission.

### Follow the status without a phone call

Each case shows where it sits in the workflow, the referral questions, and the target date.

### Read the delivered report in the portal

When staff release the report it appears on the case, section by section. No attachment by email.

### See the invoices on the case

Sent invoices are listed on the case so finance and the file handler read the same numbers.

### Keep a payment method on file

Add or update the card the coordination firm bills against.

### Control your privacy choices

Set contact preferences and ask for a copy or erasure of your information.

## The status words you will see

These are the real states a case moves through in IMECore, not a marketing list. A referrer sees the current one highlighted on the case.

- Referral received (new)
- Reading the referral (extracting)
- Staff review (needs_review)
- Booking the examiner (open)
- Appointment booked (scheduled)
- Report drafted (reported)
- Report in quality review (in_review)
- Report delivered (delivered)
- Invoiced (invoiced)
- Closed (closed)

## Each role sees its own view of the same case

AssessMed's and Viewpoint's portals serve the referrer only. IMECore gives the examiner and the claimant their own view of the same case, each limited to what their role may see.

### Referrer

Sends the file and waits for the answer.

- Submit a referral
- Case status and target date
- Delivered report
- Invoices
- Payment method on file

### Examiner

Sees the claimant and writes the report.

- Case offers to accept or decline
- Availability and blackout dates
- Records chronology and referral questions
- Time logged on the case
- Payout setup and acceptance numbers

### Examinee

Attends the appointment.

- Appointment options to choose from
- The confirmed appointment
- Documents shared with them
- Privacy choices and information requests

## What a login can and cannot see

Access follows the role. The audit trail records every look.

- Personal information is handled under PIPEDA, BC PIPA, and FOIPPA. See the trust page for what each one requires of us.
- Every action on a case is logged with the date, time, and user.
- Referrers see the status and the released report. Privileged letters and examiner working notes stay out of the referrer view.

## Request access

Referrer logins are tenant-scoped: you belong to the coordination firm that runs your files. Tell us who you are and which firm you work with, and we will connect you.
